BASIC SCREENING

$750 flat rate fee.

This brief screening protocol is represented as a cost-effective means to gather a basic psychiatric history to determine your clinical profile trends towards a diagnosis of ADHD, as a means to either justify further assessment to confirm a diagnosis of ADHD, or recommend other avenues of care for alternate diagnoses without the need for extensive assessment. The brief/basic screening includes results delivery in brief written form and a brief telephone/video feedback session. The protocol does not include collateral report data collection, enhanced differential diagnostic metrics, and limits quantitative measures to two measures (adulthood/childhood).

Our basic screening DOES NOT confirm ADHD, but instead informs patients whether their symptoms trend towards (or away) from ADHD.

Basic screening is for adults only, not for children.

COMPREHENSIVE SCREENING

$1500 flat rate fee.
(Our most popular choice)

This remote/virtual comprehensive psychodiagnostic screening protocol includes reviewing/scoring extensive self-report/collateral-report data through qualitative (narrative) and quantitative (metric-driven) means. It concludes with a 30-45 minute feedback/coaching session, as well as delivery of a detailed letter verifying assessment methodology, diagnosis, and tailored recommendations. This is a gold/industry standard ADHD assessment protocol that meets the most stringent standards of the medical community.

Our comprehensive screening DOES confirm ADHD (if diagnosable), and is most commonly used by patients to access psychiatry services for medication consultation and interventions.

BASIC TESTING

$6000 flat rate fee.

Adult/child psychological/neuropsychological testing (includes comprehensive screening above). This hybridized (remote & in-person) comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessment includes the reviewing/scoring records/forms, one or two 3–4-hour testing session(s), clinical interview, feedback session, a detailed report, diagnostic impressions, recommendations for care/accommodations, and completing accommodation forms if needed.

This protocol includes basic/brief psychoeducational testing (screenings, e.g., a WRAT5 or select subtests from other psychoeducational tests).

ADVANCED TESTING

$8000 flat rate fee.

Adult/child psychological/neuropsych testing (includes comprehensive screening above). This hybridized (remote & in-person) comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessment includes the reviewing/scoring records/forms, one or two 3–4-hour testing sessions, clinical interview, feedback session, as well as authoring of a detailed comprehensive report verifying assessment methodology and diagnosis, and completing accommodation forms if needed.

This protocol may include full psychoeducational testing (e.g., a WIAT)--and may result in a second day of testing. This protocol is typically used for CA/NV bar accommodation applications specifically due to the extra requirements (tests and forms) set forth by the testing boards. This protocol also may include concierge (home-visit) options. This protocol may include extensive (more than screening) ASD assessment.

We don’t like surprises, so we make every effort to ensure we stick with proposed fee. Following the initial FREE (BRIEF) consultation, we run a fee-for-service business.

Additional Fees for Administrative Requests.

Reasonable/minimal administrative requests will likely be honored without a fee, but it is at the discretion of Megalithic Psychology, Inc. whether or not an additional fee will be incurred. For unusual requests, such as for any copies of raw/test data beyond the digital delivery of your exam report, especially if mailed/prepared, will incur an additional cost of one hour of psychologist’s time (e.g., $250 for hardcopy preparation/mailing).

Additional Fees for Legal/School Meeting Requests.

The assessment fee does NOT include Megalithic Psychology, Inc attending IEP/school meetings, or court appearances. The assessment report is intended to facilitate client needs in these settings. Rarely, some clients may request that Megalithic Psychology, Inc become involved in civil/criminal court proceedings and/or school advocacy beyond the delivery of the assessment report. These extra responsibilities absorb considerable clinic time, and are a fee-for-service arrangement beyond the assessment fee itself. For any court/school appearance, Megalithic Psychology, Inc charges a $1500 preparation fee, and then $250/hour for any subsequent hour to include consultation, travel, waiting, actual meeting/court appearance time, de-briefing, follow up correspondence, and recordkeeping requirements. For example, a 1-hour court/school meeting appearance may incur a $3,000 fee ($1500 preparation fee, and 6 hours of subsequent hourly charges). Court/school-board appearances can be expensive, and retaining a forensic practice is recommended (fees, including retaining a lawyer can be substantial). A single specific request may be discussed and quoted accordingly, depending on the scope of the request.
